As your Birth and Labor doula hereat Spiritual Edge we assist our moms & her family before and during childbirth. We provide non-medical emotional and physical support during pregnancy and the birthing process. As your Doula, I work with the rest of your birth team, and are there to assist the mom and support her partners but not to replace them.
We have also partnered with Mr. Adrian Sundiata to help our dads and male partner with his services. www.mrsundiata.com
Our birthing services include:
*Prenatal and Birth Readiness
*Labor Support and Exercises
*Guidance after your birth for the first 6 weeks with doctor appointment support.

As your Postpartum Doula we believe in coming together to develop a tailor made postpartum plan JUST for YOU.
Some services we provide to our moms are:
- doing light housework (tidying, vacuuming, etc.)
- making meals
- providing evidence-based information on all things newborn/postpartum
- promoting self-care
- advocating for the mother
- helping siblings adjust
- referring to additional support in all topics baby/mom
- Prices for this service will depend on number of hours worked starting at $45/hr with a selection of task and a $350 retainer fee.

Closing of the bones is one such postpartum healing ceremony. Created to nurture the mother after her passage through giving birth, and her journey into motherhood, it is setting of a sacred space, and way to nurture her physically and emotionally as she goes about her enormous work of motherhood.

I am an Early Educator of over 24 years. A graduate of a HBCU with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English.
